In general, network access between computers and game servers takes place when data packets are delivered from computers to game servers, passing through multiple (from a few to dozens) nodes.

Regardless of the user's router or Internet provider they use, problems such as game lagging, high ping issue, unstable network access, or game crash can occur under the problem mentioned above.

Understanding the root cause of the issue

If there is any problem with poor connection taking place, please follow the order below to figure out the cause.

1. First, open the web page of the Internet provider and then open the Wargaming's player support web page. This is to check the news about network and game server problems. If there is any news about the problem, please wait until the maintenance is completed.
2. While playing World of Warships, please make sure you don't use Internet access to any programs, including Torrent clients, download managers, browsers, online music or video playback, programs, and operating system renewal downloads.

The use of MOD indicating ping is not recommended. This MOD constantly sends requests to all game servers, increasing the load on the network and generating lags.

1. If you have other devices (computer, phone, tablet, etc.) connected to your router, please disconnect the mentioned devices from the router during diagnosis so that they do not affect network access.
2. If a problem occurs when logging in to the game server, please check if the game client isn't added to the vaccine software's blocking list. If you are using a firewall, please refer to this article to make sure that the game client is not blocked by the firewall.
3. If you are connected to the router via Wi-Fi, please check if the signal is strong enough. If the signal is weak, please move the computer near the router to see the signal improves. If the router is connected to the PC using a UTP cable (see the picture below), please replace the cable (if there is any extra), and make sure there is no problem with the cable.
   
4. If you are accessing the Internet through Ethernet, please connect directly without using a router. Please connect the Internet provider's UTP cable installed in the building directly to the computer's network adapter, not the router.
