World of Tanks Salute and World of Warships Salute are benefit programs dedicated to supporting the U.S. and Canadian Armed Forces military members and veterans. To participate in the program, players must verify their status through the ID.me verification service and link it to their Wargaming account.
After successful verification, eligible players gain access to special offers and benefits available through the World of Tanks Salute and World of Warships Salute programs.
How to Link an ID.me Account
Go to ID.me and make sure your military status (active duty, veteran, etc.) is verified. If you haven't created an account already, create one.
After registering with ID.me, to bind it with your Wargaming ID account and gain access to the benefits that it gives, simply do the following:
Linking a Current Wargaming Account with ID.me
- Log in to the Account Management page
- Click the ID.me button in the right-hand column
- Login with your ID.me account and confirm
- All done!
Creating a New Wargaming Account with ID.me
- Click HERE to begin creating your Wargaming Account
- Click the ID.me button and link your ID.me account
- Complete Wargaming Account creation process
- All done!
The number of verification attempts is limited. If you have any issues with status verification, please contact the ID.me support.
How to Unlink an ID.me Account
If you wish to do so, please follow these steps:
- If you have an ID.me account linked to Wargaming account, you will see the following on your Account Management page:
- Once you have navigated to this page, hover your cursor over the date next to the ID.me icon to show the "Unlink" option:
- After clicking on "Unlink", you will see the following page:
- Please click the "Continue" button. If the action is completed successfully, a confirmation screen will appear.
You have now successfully unlinked your ID.me account from your Wargaming account!
