What is an Operation?

An Operation in World of Tanks Blitz is a monthly in-game activity that offers various rewards.

Details of each Operation can be found in the news section on our website or the game client.

To receive the rewards, you must complete the Operation missions, thus increasing the level of your Pass.

Completing the levels will bring you numerous rewards, including gold, credits, Premium Account days, Free XP, avatars that change as you progress through the Operation, boosters, certificates for purchasing and researching Tier VII, VIII, IX, and X vehicles, camouflages, and more.

When do Operations take place?

The specific timing of each Operation for each of the three regions (Europe, North America, and APAC) is detailed in the corresponding news updates.

An Operation consists of two stages: the main stage, during which you can level up your Pass and fill your Vaults, and the purchase stage, during which Premium Pass holders have an extra day to purchase additional levels.

The remaining time for the current stage is displayed at the top of the Operation screen, near its name.

How do I participate in an Operation?

Operations automatically appear in your Garage at the beginning of each month, giving you immediate access to the Operation missions so you can start completing them.

Access to Operations is granted after you have researched and purchased Tier III vehicles and have participated in five regular or rating battles.

Regular Pass, Premium Pass, and Extended Pass

Each Operation consists of 60 levels and two reward progressions. The upper (silver) progression is available to all players, while the lower (gold) progression is accessible only to those with a Premium or Extended Pass.

There are three types of Operation Passes:

Regular Pass

  • available to all players
  • gives access to Operation missions and the upper reward progression

Premium Pass

  • gives access to the main Operation rewards, including gold, Premium Account time, Collector vehicles, avatars, camos, and a dedicated profile background
  • gives access to an additional weekly mission that can earn you up to three Pass levels
  • allows you to change the conditions of one mission every week
  • allows you to simultaneously complete missions for all unlocked weeks
  • allows you to fill the Gold Vault as well as increase the capacity of the Gold, Free XP, and Credit Vaults
  • allows you to increase the Pass level in exchange for gold
  • allows you to open a special Operation Container with parts of certificates for tanks from previous Operations and a chance to get rare vehicles upon reaching Pass Level 60

Extended Pass

  • contains all Premuim Pass bonuses
  • gives access to all 20 Operation levels (when buying the bundle; if you're already less than 20 levels away from reaching the final level, any excess levels will be counted towards Operation Container progress)
  • contains additional rewards for the current Operation

Even if you have already received rewards from the upper progression, purchasing a Premium Pass will immediately unlock all rewards up to your current level, allowing you to collect rewards from all previously completed levels from the lower progression.

Operation Missions

The Operation missions are split into four weeks, each featuring six different missions of increasing difficulty. Of these, five are accessible to all players and one is exclusively available to Premium Pass holders.

Each mission consists of three stages. Completing each stage earns you one Pass level.

Six new missions become available each week, with the specific opening times for each week's missions detailed in the Operation Missions window under the Week 2, Week 3, and Week 4 tabs.

Week 1 missions are available at the start of the Operation.

Premium Pass holders have the advantage of working towards completing all the open week’s missions simultaneously. Additionally, they can complete the Operation without performing all the missions by purchasing Levels 1, 5, 10, or 15 with gold.

Changing missions

Players with a Premium Pass can change the conditions of one mission per week at no cost; any subsequent changes will cost 350 gold.

When a mission is changed, its progress is reset, but any levels earned and retained from stage 1 and stage 2 are preserved.

When can I perform missions?

Missions can only be completed and Pass levels increased during the main phase of an Operation.

Once the main stage concludes, you can no longer increase the Pass level by completing missions. However, Premium Pass holders will have an additional purchase stage during which they can purchase Pass levels with gold.

Operation Container

After reaching Level 60, Premium Pass holders can use their accumulated levels to open an Operation Container.

To open one Container, seven levels must be accumulated. There is no limit to how many Operation Containers you can open.

Resource Vaults

What types of vaults exist?

When you start an Operation, you gain access to Free XP and Credit Vaults. A Premium Pass additionally grants access to a Gold Vault.

How do I fill vaults?

Vaults are filled with resources each time you meet the conditions specified for each Vault.

You can only start filling a Gold Vault after obtaining a Premium Pass. Until then, gold will not accumulate in the Vault.

Resources can only be accumulated in the Vaults during the main stage of the Operation; you cannot fill the Vaults during the purchase stage.

Upon reaching certain Operation levels, Premium Pass holders can increase the capacity of their Vaults and accumulate more resources.

How do I collect my accumulated resources?

You can open the Vaults after you completed all upgrades and filled them to capacity. If you do not manage to collect resources from the Vaults in time, they will be credited to your account automatically after the Operation concludes.
