Chat is a tool available in the Garage for every player. Using Chat, you can write to anyone, so long as you know the nickname. But there's a flip side to this tool: offensive, pointless, and spam messages. You can protect yourself from these messages with the Receive messages only from friends function:
- the filter is enabled by default
- when disabling this function, you will receive a message warning you as to the risk of receiving offensive and obscene messages from other players
- if the filter is enabled and you receive negative messages from your friends, you may block or delete this player from your Friends list.
