General Information
Sometimes the brand name of the manufacturer together with the model of an Android device is not enough to precisely determine its technical characteristics. So how can we easily determine this information?
Enter the free CPU-Z app, available at Google Play.
CPU-Z is a diagnostic utility that displays detailed technical information about the Android device it’s downloaded onto: including CPU model and speed, video accelerator model, RAM volume, and so on.
Creating a CPU-Z Report
- Open the Google Play app and enter cpu z in the search bar:
- You will get the following search results:
- Tap Install. Wait for the installation to finish.
- After launching CPU-Z, you will see the following window displaying the main technical characteristics of the device.
- Swipe the line with the tabs "Soc", "Device", "System", and "Battery" to the right, and go to the last tab "About". Once there, tap Online Validation:
- In the window that opens, enter the nickname you want in the Name field (for example, your nickname in World of Tanks Blitz) and tap the OK button. The e-mail field is optional.
- The browser will automatically open, and the url bar will contain a link to the CPU-Z report with information about the technical specifications of the device:
