World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz, and World of Warships have a procedure for compensation for damage in case of loss of control over an account. It enables the reversal of in-game actions performed on the account during the compromise.
What Exactly Is Recovered?
- Vehicles, equipment, consumables, etc.
- Dismissed crew members.
- Undistributed and free experience.
- Statistical data: Number of battles, win percentage, average experience earned per battle, etc.
The account is restored to the closest possible date preceding when you loss control over the account. All actions performed in the game during the time of unauthorized access are undone.
Account recovery is technically possible only within two months from the moment of unauthorized access.
For example, on August 10, the Player Support reviews a ticket and confirms that control over the account was lost on August 8. In this case, the account will be restored to the earliest possible date prior to August 8. Any actions taken on the account after August 8 will be erased.
If more than 2 months have passed since the unauthorized access occurred, tickets regarding the hack will be reviewed on a limited basis and do not imply full compensation for damages.
For example, on August 10, the Player Support reviews a ticket and confirms that control over the account was lost on March 8. In this case, the account can be restored to a date between June 10 and August 10. However, any damage to the account caused before June 10 will not be compensated.
Your purchases made in the Premium Store that are affected by the restoration process will be credited back to the game account. Receiving the same random rewards from special bundles is not guaranteed.
