How to add the game to antivirus exceptions
These instructions are valid for:
- Comodo Antivirus 11
- Comodo Internet Security 11
- Comodo Internet Security Pro 11
The screenshots have been made using Comodo Internet Security Pro 11.
- Launch Comodo Antivirus. Click 'Settings' in the top menu.
- Open 'Advanced Protection' in the left panel and select 'Scan Exclusions'. Click the 'Add' button in the right part of the window and select 'Folders' in the drop-down menu.
- Specify the path to the folder where the game is installed (e.g. D:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and click 'OK'.
- You have now added the game folder to the exclusion list and the antivirus will no longer scan it. Now add the game files to the list of allowed applications.
- Open the HIPS list in the right panel. Select 'HIPS Rules' in the resulting menu and click 'Add' in the right side of the window.
- Click 'Browse' in the top right corner. Select 'Applications' in the drop-down menu.
- Specify the path to the WorldOfTanks.exe file in the folder with the installed game (e.g. D:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and click 'Open'.
- The WorldOfTanks.exe path will appear in the 'Name:' field. Select the 'Use Ruleset' button, select 'Allowed Application' opposite to it, and click 'OK'.
- You have successfully configured the antivirus. It will no longer scan the game folder and the necessary files have been added to the list of allowed applications.
- If you're using Comodo Internet Security Complete 11 or Comodo Internet Security Pro 11, we recommend you add the game files to firewall exclusions. It will help prevent issues when connecting to the servers. Open the instructions below to configure settings.

These instructions are valid for Comodo Internet Security Complete 11 and Comodo Internet Security Pro 11.
- Launch Comodo Internet Security. Click 'Settings' in the top menu.
- Select 'Firewall' in the left-side panel and then select 'Application Rules'. Click 'Add' in the right side of the window.
- Click 'Browse' in the top right corner. Select 'Files' in the drop-down menu.
- Specify the path to the WorldOfTanks.exe file in the folder with the installed game (e.g. D:\Games\World_of_Tanks) and click 'Open'.
- The WorldOfTanks.exe path will appear in the 'Name:' field. Select the 'Use Ruleset' button, select 'Allowed Application' opposite to it, and click 'OK'.
- You have added the necessary files to firewall exclusions. Configuration is complete. You may close the Comodo Internet Security control panel.
